Just reading over the early season threads, I sort of forgot how many episodes that she popped up in.

Okay, halfway through I looked it up

She's a more re-occurring character than I expected. Never seems at the forefront, but super important to the structure of it. I guess like a mum in that way!

One episode it's Eve wearing Mary's image, another is one of Sam's delusion, a few of them are dream versions and some are flashbacks, I think that's why you easily forget how many she's in before her resurrection.

Yeah, I think you are right. I'm interested to do a mary arc watch, maybe that would make her a more prominent player in my mind. SPN is hard to "master" in the memory, partly because of the length but also because of the flash backs! With the upcoming Winchester project, it would be good to get to know her better to peak my interest a bit more.

Maybe a chronological watch, starting with young Mary and going through to her return

That would be cool, and less confusing than throwing fake marys in the mix
