I just rewatched Route 666 and Cassie is supposed to be Dean's first(?) love, the one he opened up to about hunting, how would you feel if he returned to her when doing his whirlwind tour before his death, and perhaps again post Sam going to Hell with Lucifer? Obviously Ben wouldn't be apart of the story though.
